Curtis + Rogers collaborated with Leo A Daly - Architecture for the successful completion of
the Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (RCCL) Innovation Lab. This contemporary project which
was completed in 2017 was also awarded LEED Silver certification. The landscape design
combines environment and aesthetics by using vegetation that is appropriate to site and place.
Plant material was carefully selected to fit in and thrive in its coastal setting (located at the
Port of Miami) while enhancing the materialy rich surrounding architecture. The landscape
at the RCCL Innovation Lab provides the richness, texture, and presence that only nature can
provide, making it a place that is in harmony with its setting.
