Curtis + Rogers is seeking a highly motivated and talented Landscape Architecture intern to join our South Miami office for the 2023 summer internship session. This paid internship offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Landscape Architecture and develop valuable skills in a professional work environment. The internship duration and schedule are flexible, and we are committed to working with students to accommodate their academic commitments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field data collection using ArcGIS ‘Field Maps’ in contribution to the development of a comprehensive site analysis for an on-going project.

• Research and select the most comprehensive carbon impact calculators on the market and take the lead on calculating the carbon impact of   completed projects.

• Utilize technical software programs to analyze and produce design graphics, including infographics, concept plans, and construction documents, as determined by project managers.

• Collaborate with project managers and designers, providing support in the execution of ongoing projects.

Skills and Qualifications

​

Qualifications:

• Must have completed at least 2 years of study from an accredited college in a related field.

• Proficient with software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), PowerPoint, and Excel. Fluency in SketchUp and GIS is a plus.

• Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

• Excellent graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Ability to effectively interface with staff and the public.

• Ability to perform field work and spend extended periods of time outdoors.

• Current valid driver's license and a car available for periodic use in site visits and field work.
