One Miami was built at the confluence of the Miami River and Biscayne Bay. One Miami consists of two residential condominium towers and a commercial building at the Biscayne Boulevard entrance. It was the first new residential development in Miami for many years and before the building boom. Public access to the river was provided by a walkway that connects to Bayfront Park. The lobbies of the residential buildings, as well as public restaurants, have vistas over the river and the bay. Services included Landscape Architecture related to both hard and soft landscapes through the receipt of a Major Use Special Permit from the City of Miami.
