Jose Marti Park | Adaptive Redesign

Jose Marti Park, a 13-acre waterfront public park located in Little Havana, Miami. Seeks to be the first Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines (WEDG) verified site in the state of Florida. By following WEDG design guidelines from the beginning of the design process, accessibility to the waterfront, resiliency from sea level rise, sustainable design, equitable development, and ecological preservation were at the forefront of the design. Once completed, this urban park will serve the local community with robust programing, learning opportunities, and protection from rising seas and tidal flooding.
